November 25, 20169 yr So half the stuff I have looked at mention to do something via the command line. I may be blind but I haven't seen any option for command line in my servers webgui. Is there a plugin/docker i need to install. Am I supposed to be using a 3rd party program to ssh in to a command line? If so what is there a link to a tutorial on doing this? Grimmjsb
November 25, 20169 yr Just download Putty on your Windows box and you can SSH into the IP address of the server. Or connect a keyboard / monitor to the server and you're already there Or, install the CmdLine plugin via Community Applications and you can do it all through the webGUI of unRaid. That being said, everyday there is less and less reason to ever have to hit the command line in unRaid. Off the top of my head, I can't really think of that many cases where its required to do so...
November 25, 20169 yr Author Awesome thanks for the fast response. gonna try out the command line plugin first. I've seen more than a few mention doing stuff through the command line and I've been able to get around without it. This time, however, the teamspeak3 linuxserver.io plugin specifically said it was important to use command line instead of the WebUI for the logs, so i figured I'd finally start looking into it. Thanks again for your help!
