November 28, 20169 yr The acid test is to try it - install the card and attach a drive then boot unRAID and see if the drive is available.
November 28, 20169 yr Author yea its not showing up in unRAID so i take it there is no other trick or driver pack i can install to get it to show up?
November 29, 20169 yr No, unless you can compile your own Slackware system with the unRAID modules, the driver would have to be added by Lime Technology. Are you really sure you need IDE support? A cheap Promise card should still be supported.
November 29, 20169 yr Author Im not in dire need of it it would of been handy for the drives I have laying around in this little test rig I built. Also im guessing your referring to one of the cards in the supported list?
