hello I am new to unRaid and was hoping for a little help I have a (SIL0680) Model SD-ATA133R and was hoping to use it with unRaid is there a way to get controller cards to work that are not on the supported list?? also the card is detected  the card in the bios

Also i apoligise  if this has been covered already in the forums I have not found anything on it

The acid test is to try it - install the card and attach a drive then boot unRAID and see if the drive is available.

yea its not showing up in unRAID  so i take it there is no other trick or driver pack i can install to get it to show up?

No, unless you can compile your own Slackware system with the unRAID modules, the driver would have to be added by Lime Technology.  Are you really sure you need IDE support?  A cheap Promise card should still be supported.
