Did anyone experience blue screen (force shutdown) on W7-64 when stop the array?  I just noticed this happened recently since I mostly use my XP machine.

 

I am running unraid version 4.5 now. I don't think having this problem with older version.

 

We have 4 pc hooked to the unraid server: 2 XP (wireless), 1 W7-32 (wireless), and 1 W7-64 (hardwire). I do not have problem with any of them except the W7-64. I do not do share in my unraid either.

 

Is there any bug associated with ver. 4.5 that causing this? Does anyone know how to prevent this?

Don't use  Windows7.

 

honestly, it is a bug with windows internet explorer if it going to be a bug anywhere...  I'd probably use fdisk to get rid of the bug.

Is this because I map the drives to the explorer?

Same here.  I do not use IE, though, I use Chrome.  Maybe try Chrome or Firefox instead of IE.

I think the problem is not with IE. My desktop the one that using W7 was sudently BSOD when I stop the array with my laptop (XP). It is totally wierd
