Is this normal behavior - Two cache drives but second one not in use?

Featured Replies

Just setup my system today so pardon the newbiness.  Is an event supposed to trigger enabling the second drive or do I need to change a setting?

It basically created a raid1 cache array. So yes, it's working properly.

If I add a third drive, will it use that drive to add volume?  And what about a fourth?

I think I have two 120GB I could install...

Yes and yes. Here's a BTRFS calculator.

EDIT: Adding two 120 GB SSDs to your existing two 250 GB SSDs would give you a capacity of 370 GB in RAID 1.
