Does anyone know of a file recovery program, hopefully free, that will work with unRaid. I need to recover a folder to save butt.

Thanks

Thanks Joe for the reply. I have a question, however. After typing yes to run the program the command line reads: Root@tower, apparently waiting for another command. How do I know if anything is happening?

Unless you type "Yes" (Capital "Y" lower case "es") it will do nothing and give you back the prompt.  Try once more responding "Yes" (without the quote marks)

Joe, I used a capital "Y",  as you stated I should do, and got a "replaying journal" response. I think I'm ok. I will let you know how it turned out.

I was able to recover my deleted folder but most of the file names were removed/replaced. The problem is the recovered folder contained many video files (VIDEO_TS folders). Now I have the task of sorting things out. but I am almost done.

The files were created from old video vhs tapes and I did not want to go through the process of creating them again. Thanks Joe for the help.
