recovering array after error, not all data is showing up

Featured Replies

Hey, I am having an odd problem with my UnRaid system: not all of my files are showing up. I have a share on the array called Media, but not all of the files are showing up in this share. I'm not up on the specfics of how UnRaid tracks files, so bear with me.

So, if I look at one of the folders in the share (through Shares/Browse?dir=/mnt/user/Media/TV+Shows), it shows that the data is on drives 2,12.

But if I look on one of the other disks  (through /Main/Browse?dir=/mnt/disk4/Media/TV+Shows, for instance), I can see that some of the files are on that drive.

When I look at the share over the network as a windows share, I only see the files that are on drives 2,12.

basically, where the share thinks the files are, and the files on the drives don't seem to be connected.

The effect is that when you brows to the share over the network, not all of the files show up.

I am running version 6.2.4

Any ideas? Is there a way to rescan and reconnect?

Check filesystem on disk3. Also, why is your appdata share set to cache-yes? It is being moved. Normally people set appdata to cache-only or cache-prefer.

by check filesystem you mean mount the array as maintenance, then run xfs_repair, yes?

Okay, ran xfs_repair on md3 and that seems to have corrected the issue. Thanks, all!

What about your appdata share? You should set it to Use cache disk: Prefer and run mover.
