December 15, 20169 yr I've currently got a XEON E3-1230 V2 in my UNRAID server. I've upgraded my GTX 650 TI to a GTX 1050 2GB and I finally have a Windows 10 VM working. I have a GTX 750 in the first slot in order to have the 1050 working but I need to replace it with a cheap card since the 750 is borrowed and in Australia it still costs around $200 AUD so instead of buying myself a GTX 750 to use as a dummy card I was hoping to find something else to use.
December 15, 20169 yr Literally any PCIe card would work... cheap and cheerful Geforce GT710's can be had on ebay for very cheap.
December 15, 20169 yr Author I've tried with 2 different $10 AMD cards as dummy cards and had no luck so I wasn't sure if maybe there were only certain cards that worked or if it was just that I was trying to use a AMD card with a nVidia one.
