How to get hard drive installed into the server, but not included into the array

Hello,

 

I would like to add SSD drive to download faster with sabnzbd.

How can I add this drive into the server, but without including into the global array storage.

I mean, i would like to dedicate this SSD to download, verify, repare... the par files when I'm downloading.

Then, to export the final file to the global array.

 

Is there a way to do that?
