Its been hours since I started preclearing from preclearing plugin.

No. That's not normal. The process hasn't actually started. See this thread. Stop it and try starting it again. If that doesn't work, try a different browser.

Can you run /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/preclear.disk/script/preclear_disk.sh  --notify 7 --frequency 1 --cycles 1 --no-prompt /dev/sdf in the console and post any errors?

I did assign the drive before and start the array(it rebuilds), but cancel minutes later because it doesnt preclear(i have the impression that it will auto preclear, but it doesnt)

 

Before running the script, i have stop the array and set the disk to no device.

 

What should i do?

Not sure what you're trying to achieve but you can't pre-clear a disk that's already assigned to the array.

disk 1 is failing. i bought new drive, disk x. i forgot to preclear disk x before adding to array. i then cancel rebuilding disk x, and want to preclear disk x before adding disk x to array.

 

make sense?

Managed to preclear the disk after starting the array without the disk.
