Just wondering what mobo everyone is using these days that has lots of SATA ports on board that is still available form online retailers? Oh yeah... it needs to work with unRAID ;)

There were reports that one of the popular boards has undergone a hardware revision that removes some of the SATA ports. I can't readily find the thread in here, perhaps you may have better luck doing a search?

It was Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2.  Revision 3.0 has 6 ports.  Revision 4.0 and above have 4 ports.

I belive you mean the move from the Gigabyte EP35-DS3P to the EP45-DS3P. While both are DS3P class motherboards the newer P45 has less ports.
