December 24, 20169 yr I have recently upgraded from 4.7 o 6.2.4. Everything went great. I was able to see all of my files and share without issue. I then proceeded to clean up the system due to it's capacity . I was at about 89% capacity after the upgrade. I deleted old files through a windows 10 system and everything seemed fine. I got to about 68% utilization. I created a user and locked the main share "Media" down to private so only the specific user could change the files. I then tried to access a specific sub-folder "movies" on the share "media" where I added and moved some files and was unable to attach. I also tried to access another sub-folder under "media" called "Recorded_TV" and was unable to attach to it as well. Both folders "movies"and "Recorded_TV" had file deletions, moves or folder changes made to them. All other sub-folders under "media" are accessible. No changes were made to any other sub-folders. All folders and files under share "media" are accessible through the unraid GUI. (see screenshot) I have changed the "private" setting on "media" to public and had no effect on the issue. I have removed the user I created and has had no effect on the issue. I have tried to restart the system with no effect on the issue. I appreciate any help. Thanks!! December 24, 20169 yr Community Expert I haven't looked at your diagnostics yet, but it is never necessary to post syslog since it is already included in diagnostics. There were some changes between v4.7 and v5+ that required you to do New Permissions. Have you already done that?
