xleejohnx Posted December 25, 2016 Share Posted December 25, 2016 Okay I had a disk go bad so I replaced it and did a preclear on the drive everything came out fine Started the rebuild and now I'm getting errors from disk1 and disk2 now disk2 is the new drive Should I replace disk1 also since it now giving errors ? That will provide the Gurus with a lot of information about where to go and do next. (Help may be slow in arriving because of Christmas...) Above all, do not PANIC!!! trurl Posted December 25, 2016 Share Posted December 25, 2016 How do you know the disk was bad? Connection problems are much more common than bad drives. Diagnostics will help decide what the actual problems are and how to proceed. Quote Link to comment

Diagnostics will help decide what the actual problems are and how to proceed. Smart report gave 2000 reallocated sectors plus it was at the 3 year mark of on time Then it read errors.
