hello all,

 

have been out of the unRAID game for a long while now (3. something!) and am trying to get caught up to see if unRAID supports what I need?

 

I have a Drobo Pro with iSCSI (8 drive bays).  What I want to be able to do is fire up unRAID on my server box and have it manage the disk (or at least some of the disk) in the Drobo.  Is there an iSCSI initiator in unRAID?

 

Next question, if I get it to handle all of the Drobo disk, then I need unRAID to also be an iSCSI target, is that there?

 

I know asking a lot!

 

Looks like there are some instructions for setting up a upnp server on unRAID now so it will support my WD HD Live and hopefully Windows Media Center boxes with streaming....

 

Here's hoping I can get it all to work.

No iSCSI built into unRAID.  I'm sure someone cleverer than me can tell you if adding yourself it is viable.
