Need help on how to mount the .img files

Greetings,

 

I was trying to recover the data that was on one of my VM in unRAID since my new motherboard doesn't have virtualization.

 

I wanted to know if there is any way to mount the .img files from a VM without starting the VM and get it mounted as a share folder or something similar.

 

Any help would be appreciated !

Edit : Ill try to run the liveCD of Ubuntu and run this command to see if that works :

sudo mount -t ReiserFS -o loop image.img mountpoint -r
