Multiple VMs through one gpu?

Featured Replies

I recently acquired a HP Proliant DL380 G7 from work. What I would like to do is run two different VMs with it to use as two different standard computers. Can I use the motherboards onboard graphics as the unRAID boot "gpu" and then buy a gtx 1050 for my outputs for both VMs. I would like the VMs to be able to run at the same time. Is this possible or do I need more GPUs?

You would not be able to run both VM at the same time with 1 GPU assigned to both VM. You can assign each VM a card if it's own or shutdown the current VM to utilize the same GPU for the other VM.
