[4.5.1] Windows Can Not Read From Unraid

Featured Replies

Hello all,

First post here although I have been reading a lot over the last few months before taking the plunge and building my Unraid Server.

Everything seemed to go smooth, PC build was rather straight forward, as was initial unraid set up.

I can see my user shares in Network Places and browse the sub folders.

I am using simple security.

I thought everything was good to go and started copying some media files over to the server.

The trouble comes when I tried to read a file from the server.

Windows "hour glasses" and nothing opens.

After trying to open any file the share becomes very sluggish and then eventually unresponsive in network places.

I have provided a syslog to help is diagnostics, as suggested in the Wiki.

Please let me know if there is any more detail I can provide to help find a soulition.

Thank you all in advance for your help.

I am still unable to read any files from my newly built Unraid server.

If someone could please provide some direction, I am stumped, as thus very frustrated.

Is there a chance there was some sort of error during initial format and setup?

Is there a way to completely start over?

Some additional details, the error windows gives after trying to open a file is "0x80070035".

Which is some sort of network path error.

But, I am still able to telnet and login even after this error. So, still stumped.

Once again, thanks for any help you can provide.
