Featured Replies

i have a problem. to which i cannot currently find any solution. i would really appreciate your support to rectify said problems

now coming to the problem : - i have a asus hd 7990 reference graphics card which i want to pass through to a windows 10 vm it is a single card with two gpu chips. when i select 1 gpu  (04:00:0) as the primary for the pass through the vm boots properly, but  if i add 2nd graphics card (05:00:0) to the vm the Vm gets stuck at the ipxe screen the last message it gets stuck at says the following:

iPXE (http://ipxe.org) 02:01.0 D000 PCI2.10 PnP PMM+7FF90000+7FEF0000 D000

Similarlly if i assigns the (05:00:0) graphics card as the primary card i get the error

internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor: 2016-12-27T22:29:36.192961Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=05:00.0,id=hostdev0,x-vga=on,bus=pci.2,addr=0x4: vfio: Device does not support requested feature x-vga
