February 10, 20179 yr I second this... been trying to setup Snort/PulledPork/Barnyard2/Snorby on a separate ubuntu server, but I'd much prefer having them in containers on unRAID (either separate or bundled together as a IDS container). Since the InstaSnorby ISO is basically a dead project, I'm now looking at using the Security Onion ISO in a VM on unRAID instead with Snorby.
March 16, 20179 yr Snorby looks interesting. I miss having Snort, Squid, SquidGuard, and pfblockerNG. Is there such thing of a package that includes all those and will allow me to run them without the need of running pfSense?

February 7, 20197 yr Author i ended up running untangled on a 2U rack mount server sitting on top of my unraid box.
