Duel CPUs does unRAID take advantage of them ????

Featured Replies

Hello,

Not sure if this has been talked about before, does unRAID use both cpus if your Board/system can support to chips ?

What are the advantages? Is it worth it ?

Thanks

Yes

Advantage?  More "horsepower" => whether or not it's worth it depends on just what you're using the server for ... i.e. if it's a pure NAS with no other functions, you probably don't need the extra CPU power.  If you're running a bunch of Dockers and VM's, then you can probably use all the power you can get.
