Help with gpu passthrough

Featured Replies

I get an error while trying to passthrough my EVGA GeForce 210 to a Windows 10 VM, which leaves unRAID to grab my dedicated graphics from the motherboard. The error I receive reads:

[internal error: early end of file from monitor, possible problem: 2016-12-31T11:36:01.523548Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=11:00.0,id=hostdev0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x6: vfio: failed to set iommu for container: Operation not permitted

I really do not understand what this error means, and am at a loss.

Additional Info:

X2- Xeon L5640

24G of RAM

unRAID 6.2.4

All ran in a HP Proliant DL380 G7 i got from work. When I get to choose my card to passthrough my options are Nvidia GeForce 210, VNC, AMD ES1000. I have no idea what VNC or the AMD device is.

Any help would be great. Thanks
