Planing new Build / UnRaid usefull ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I plan to build myself a new rig and want mainly to physical seperate as much as possible two 2 windows machine's in one tower.

1. Machine: Performance for gaming and video editing like this.. (dedicated GPU of course)

2. Machine: Secure machine for some main stream web browsing and online banking (data integrity and secure system)

For Backup and so on I will build an other server for 24/7 operation. I dont think I will use the two machines many times at the same time, but only one input setup (keyboard..) and monitor setup.

My question is now if it makes even sense to use UnRaid, KVM Switch and maybe dual monitor setup for my plan ?

Sorry for my quite bad english I would say, not my native language.

Why not access machine 2 through VNC or other remote desktop inside of machine 1?

Well, this was first idea too, but when some kind of systemwide keylogging or anything else like this on machine 1 happens ?

Not quite sure about this way.
