Installed unraid, but no WEBUI

Featured Replies

Hey all,

strange thing happened. Just prepaired a USB-Stick to check out a computer, but, I cant reach the webui. Not even if I use the "boot in UI mode".

What did I miss, or what did I wrong? A lot of playing with unraid since a year or so, but this is my first time.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance! Sorry, no diagnostics available. :-(

Hi and welcome.

Boot in UI mode will produce a UI on the monitor/keyboard/mouse connected to your server.  The WebUI, on the other hand, is accessed by typing http://tower or http://server.ip (replace with your server's IP address) in a web browser on another PC on your network.

So, two questions.  What are you seeing on the monitor connected to your server?  And what are you seeing from a web browser when you try the URLs above?

Good morning tdallen,

thanks a lot for your reply.

I see nothing but an error message when I try to connect via browser. No matter what I  use, IP or name. Same on the WEBUI mode when I connect a monitor.

Sadly, I am on a business trip this week. I will make a photo as soon as I am back home. BTW. the server gets an IP, shown on the monitor when booting up. So that might not be the issue.

I will respond as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Greetings from Germany!

Björn
