VM Bridging issuses

Featured Replies

So i have a windows 2012 r2 with it setup as bridged to the nic and the VM has an ip by my router's DHCP but i cant access it..

cant ping it, no RDP. cant even see it in the router... The weird thing is i can access the internet through the VM...

Any ideas? Thanks  ;)

is the ip in the same range as the rest of your devices?

is window 2012 using vibr0 or br0 for networking? if vibr0 change to br0.

The VM ip is 10.0.1.60 and the other pc im trying to connect from is 10.0.1.110

and yea the VM is on br0

you sure it's not a vm networking setting issue, like turning on local network discovery or something? (I know nothing about windows 2012).
