Help with file permissions

Running unRAID Server 6.3.0-rc6

There is hopefully a really simple permit fix for this. I have a few docker containers running, Plex, Sonarr, Deluge, Krusader, few others. My issue, when ever any files are created or moved by one of the containers, then I can not do anything with that file through SMB, except for read. I get a message box that I need permission from user\nobody. If I run the built in unRAID script "new permissions" under tools then the files are fixed and I can modify them through SMB.

Example: I download a torrent with Deluge and then try to rename and move the file through SMB, but it won't let me. So I used Krusader to rename and move the file without any problems. Later I figured out that I could run the "new permissions" on the share, then afterwards SMB wasn't a problem, but each time there is a new file, same problem.

Another Example: I used Krusader to move a lot of files off of a external drive to the array. After doing so, all of the files moved by Krusader, couldn't be modified through SMB, until after running the script.

Could I change the container PUID and/or PGID to a different value to maybe fix this? Even if there isn't any other fix, I would like some reading material to better understand what is happening. Thanks everyone

Impossible to say unless you tell us whose versions of the docker containers are.

My Containers are:

binhex/arch-plexpass:latest

linuxserver/couchpotato:latest

linuxserver/deluge:latest

linuxserver/duckdns:latest

linuxserver/jackett:latest

sparklyballs/krusader:latest

linuxserver/plexrequests:latest

linuxserver/sonarr:latest

I didn't know that would matter.

Some are secure, others are public. I had thought of that. I changed the media share to public just to make sure that wasn't an issue, but it didn't matter. I tested that already. As a public share, renamed a file through SMB, then renamed it with Krusader. After that, I could no longer modify the said file through SMB until after running the permission script. And the same is true when Deluge downloads a file in public share.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do or share that would help provide better insight. I haven't tested what happens if Sonarr moves a file.

Just thought, could this be an issue in 6.3-rc6?

I just did a quick test. Renamed a tv show file, renamed it back, no problems. Cut and paste the file to the Sonarr drone directory. Then waited for Sonarr to pick up the file and move it to the correct folder (which was where the file came from in 1st place). After Sonarr moved the file I tried to rename the file again got denied permission. Ran the "new permission" script on the share, after it completed, I can modify the file again.
