January 6, 20179 yr Raid 0 cache > Windows PC = 1GB/s (capped by 10G network) Windows PC > Raid 0 Cache = 930MB/s Raid 0 Cache > Windows PC > Raid 0 Cache = 9-30MB/s Basically if I take a file on my cache only share, copy it using my Windows PC, then paste it in another cache only share the speed is extremely slow when reading/write from the cache. The cache consists of 2x 850 EVOs. The same happens when NZBGet is processing files on a cache only share, and results in slow processing of files. The path would be Cache > 10G network > Windows > 10G Network > Cache. No idea what is causing this, running 6.3 RC6.
January 6, 20179 yr There's obviously a performance penalty when doing that, but it shouldn't be that extreme, I usually get between 300 and 500MB/s doing the same (cache is a single NVMe device)
January 6, 20179 yr Author Strange... I accessed the cache on a 1G network to test, and the problem wasn't there. I then when back to the 10G network and I get 450-500MB/s when transferring to/from the cache now. Confused. Will report back if it starts to happen again.
