January 10, 20179 yr Currently, I have two 256GB SSD's in my cache pool (256GB total storage) formatted as btrfs. I want to add a 3rd 512GB SSD to the pool. I am expecting the following result. 1. I will have a total of 512GB of protected storage in the Cache Pool. 2. I will not lose any data. 3. To install, all I need to do is shut down the array and add the drive to the cache pool. Can someone confirm this as correct?

Can someone confirm this as correct? 1. Assuming the default configuration of btrfs raid1 that 2x256 + 1x512 = 512. That is correct. I'm not sure the webUI always shows the correct answer for mixed drive sized. This page is useful: btrfs disk usage calculator 2. If all goes well you won't lose any data, but it might be a good idea to backup anyway. 3. See the FAQ for unRAID 6 starting here for the exact procedure. *edit* fix link
