March 8, 20251 yr Radarr putting movies in Download instead of Plex/Movies I am using Overseer as media management, and Sonarr and Radarr to download shows and movies respectively. I set them up using SIO’s Youtube guide several years ago. I have this issue where some movies get downloaded into a Plex/Download/Movies folder, and stay there, and some movies go to Plex/Movies. I would like all of them to go into the Plex/Movies folder. Movies in both locations can be watched in Plex. I am not having the same issue with Sonarr, it seems that they are all going to the right location. I didn’t notice the issue until I was moving files around following an upgrade and installed some additional cache pools, so it appears it has been going on for quite a while. I have been slowly moving the files from the Plex/Download/Movies to the Plex/Movies folder. Today two of the movies I had previously moved got re-downloaded to Plex/Download/Movies. I am sure it is something in my settings, but it has been so long since I set it up, I am afraid to change anything for fear of breaking it.
March 10, 20251 yr I'm getting a regular error amongst newly grabbed titles in my setup. Been using Radarr for years now and this would pop up once in a blue moon, but now it seems to happen with dozens of releases that are requiring manual import. I have not made changes to custom formats, or any core Radarr config, but I keep receiving this alert/error: Found matching movie via grab history but release was matched to movie by id. Manual import required. The releases are no different than other grabs, with almost all of them being .MKV files with the correct year and film title, and yet this keeps happening. How can I troubleshoot this issue? EDIT: I should add that this is not happening with every single grab, but seems to be amongst random ones. Manual import is always successful. March 18, 20251 yr HI all Radarr newbie, I have it all setup and linked to Prowlarr. In the radarr container config i set the /media variable to the exact location where plex stores my movies. I launch radarr and go into the web interface and select import existing movies, i then specify the location as /media. I get no errors but when I go to Library import and click on /media I get a notifcation "All movies in /media have been imported" but none are appearing. I have about 721 movies currently. How long should I wait for this to populate or should it do it straight away. Thanks, Dwarfboysim
May 5, 20251 yr Hi, In logs I have a lot of [Info] Radarr.Http.Authentication.BasicAuthenticationHandler: Basic was not authenticated. Failure message: Authorization header missing. Radarr works but I noticed stoped making backups, have some problems with automatic queue refreshing and I can't import any movies. I tried backup but problem still exist. Any ideas? June 8, 20251 yr Hello,I have been using this app for years and about a week ago my indexers stopped working. I am getting an error message saying that it is unable to connect, and i need to check my DNS settings. I am not sure what would have changed, because i have not made any changes to the settings. This is happening in both Radarr and Sonarr. It looks like there is some kind of problem because i route the indexer traffic throguh SAB so that the queries are going through the VPN. Does anyone know how to fix this, or where i can get additional troubleshooting information. I have spent about 4 hours trying to figure this out so far.I have my DNS going through duckdns.I have tried updating unraid to the newest versionI also tried to reroute the indexers through prowlarr, but i could not get this to connect either. I guess that is another issue. I am able to test the indexers with the current API codes in prowlarr and they are confirming that they work. I am not able to get prowlarr to conncect to Sonarr or Radarr. It is giving me an error that says that Prowlarr's URL is invalid. September 3, 2025Sep 3 After working flawlessly for 6 months i keep having to restart my radarr container in order for it to communicate with overseerr.Radarr works independently, overseerr works independently. overseerr has no issues communicating with my sonarr container yet after running a short amount of time doing a test on radarr in overseerr fails, quality profiles cannot be pulled. I restart radarr container and it works for a short amount of time before the issue comes back. i've deleted and recreated the app in unraid...i have not blown away the entire folder with configuration and started over...hoping this is a known issue that i can avoid this step.

My Unraid container path(s) for Plex and Radarr/Sonarr are /media/ & /media 2/ . /media is 'Temp Movies' in Radarr, and 'TV Random or Most Recent' in Sonarr. Yeah, I hate that name for 'Temp TV shows too, I am all ears for a better/shorter Share/Plex name. And the container path for Sonarr/Radarr for my permanent 'Movies' and 'Full TV Series' as seen on my Plex Shares is /media 2/. Sorry for the delayed reply. I often have so many irons in the fire and forget to check back on a question I asked when my ADHD brain was working on that problem, at that time.This is kind of how I have it set, but I wasn't aware of the custom filters. I'm able to specify Host Path 2, where my complete files are downloaded, but not where Radarr should store the post-processed movies. I even tried going back a few levels to see if I could get the option for Host Path 2, but no luck.

When I try to add a root folder, as shown on the Loki Shared screenshot, I don't get an option to add the share to Radarr.

It stop working after an update to the docker and/or Unraid (Now running verison 7.2.3). I can't recall which made it broke first because I updated the docker and then updated Unraid straight after.ERROR: Unraid Docker Hook script throw an error! Starting container without Tailscale!This is working fine on all my other dockers. Just not working on Binhex Radarr & Binhex Sonarr.I have had a hunt around, and I can't see anyone else reporting this issue, anywhere.TIA,Ed
January 1Jan 1 Running Unraid 7.2.3. Have several Arr containers running quite nicely using PIA via binhex-qbittorrentvpn. I saw a video by SpaceInvader1, suggesting switching to the "native" VPN, ie WG0. I moved Sonarr first and it all went perfectly. Radarr was another matter, Radarr would run, but never open port 7878, Lidarr same situation. I've switched them all back to Container, then WG0 several times, but they never work via WG0. 1) *Arr - Change network to the WG0. 2) QbittorentVPN - Remove Port variables for * Arr and remove them from VPN_INPUT_PORTS.3) Restart containers.Again Sonarr works as in I can reach the webui, Radarr does not. The Unraid Docker Gui lists open port for Sonarr, not Radarr. Is this a known limitation? Do I need to add something to Radarr?

On the docker screen they have a docker IP but they aren’t connected to tailscale. I have other dockers connected just fine.

February 1Feb 1 Radarr suddenly isn't launching at the same time I experienced the Sonarr issue. I was able to rollback the Sonarr version to fix it, but nothing seems to be working with Radarr. I just get an infinite loop of the docker failing to start. I don't even know what logs to check because the logs haven't updated since it ran last on 1/28/26. I've reinstalled Radarr with the latest version to no avail.
March 26Mar 26 I don't want to use the built-in Import feature. Instead, I simply want to copy ALL the data from my existing Windows Radarr install. I can then use DB Browser for SQL to update the paths in the various tables.I've tried updating in place, but then the UI doesn't open. I'm hoping someone has a method to do this, perhaps a script of some kind?

I have multiple movie folders: Movies, Movie Sets, Movie 3D, Movies 4k, Westerns, Movie Specials, Christmas, Movies Kids, Movies Anim, Movies Anim Sets. Is there a way when added a movie to Radarr to flag it to be moved to one of these folders?
