Hi all - I can see others have been recently having malformed database issues after an upgrade. I have had similar problems, and have restored the appdata files including the DB from my CA Backup/Restore Plugin. I have done this for three different backups going back three months, and all of these are somehow still coming up with malformed database errors in the logs.

Am I screwed and need to start from scratch or is there any other steps I might be missing?

Cheers

Have you tried the steps in the link below to try recovering?

the official Radarr forum has a few other things that can be attempted to repair corruption in existing database, I might try to do that before starting anew. The step by step guide is here:

thanks for that!, you are the first user that has confirmed a successful upgrade (without restoring from backup), so it looks like any prior corruption in the db (probably due to earlier versions of radarr) will cause the migration to fail, so it is going to be a case of backup your config, cross your fingers, sacrifice a couple of goats in your back garden and then press the button!.

Mine went smooth as well. In fact, I didn't know there were any issues until I got an email about this thread. Thank, binhex!

Im not sure if this relates to the few posts above me but all of a sudden Radarr is spitting out the attached error.

Can someone please provide a little bit of help.

looks like the database tried to migrate and things went pear shaped after that.

I'd say it's the same issue as some others have seen

Never mind I finally figured it out. Had to manually check for updates from the docker tab.

PROBLEM IMPORTING

All of a sudden this morning Radarr and Sonarr will not import/move download files any more.

022-02-28 18:51:01.1|Error|DownloadedMovieImportService|Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Radarr: /data/The.Movie. Ensure the path exists and the user running Radarr has the correct permissions to access this file/folder

What happened? and how do I fix it ASAP?

Thanks

Afternoon,

Im getting a problem with my radarr docker not loading the webui.  Checking the log I see this error.

[v4.0.5.5981] System.IO.InvalidDataException: Failed to load configuration from file '/config/config.xml'.

Ive tried force updating, deleting the old image and nothing seems to be working.  Any clues?

In Radarr>System>Health I am getting this message.

"You are using docker; download client sab places downloads in /config/Downloads/complete but this directory does not appear to exist inside the container. Review your remote path mappings and container volume settings."

I feel like everything is working fine. Does this need fixing?

This path would normally be your appdata folder. Usually downloads would go to /data/Dowloads/complete. I’m sure Radarr is configured for /data unless you have changed it from the default.

This is caused by mapping a host path that isn't actual mounted storage. Any path that isn't actual mounted storage is a path in rootfs.

Ok I see, how would I have to proceed so that I can specify this as a local path?

Or how can I mount this without loading rootfs?

Having a weird issue. Not sure when it started but must have been within the last few weeks. Radarr's log is reporting that it doesn't have permission to access the directory assigned to /trash in the Docker template (a default directory defined by the Recycle Bin plugin), so every time it grabs something that's an upgrade for an existing file it can't delete that existing file, and the import fails. It used to be able to delete files fine, nothing's changed in how the Docker template is setup, and the exact same settings with Sonarr don't cause an issue (both container template settings and Media Management settings in-app).

Even weirder - I didn't notice it for a while because it seems to work again if the container is restarted (although not always, it can take a few restarts), until eventually it gums up once more. Radarr is also fine creating entirely new directories and moving fresh files into them at all times.

Here's an example log from today:

Any ideas?

Let's see if anyone can help here since the main thread says I should come here because it's obviously not a problem with unraid since other people have upgraded without issue.

I've had the same problem ever since unraid 6.10.0 rc2 and up. Rc1 works fine but as soon as I try and upgrade, sonarr and radarr can no longer import files anymore. If I downgrade back to rc1, it starts importing again. This is what I get:

Apparently not.

This is a complete guess, but is your downloads folder on an unassigned device? I think there were some changes in how device ids are handled by Unassigned Devices in 6.10, not sure if that could cause this error?

Nope. It's on a normal share as part of the array, but thanks for the reply.

It is ridiculous that this problem has been going on for months and months and I’ve tried to get help and there’s absolutely none to be found. I guess I’m stuck on rc1 until I find a better os that actually comes with some support instead of snide comments from other users that says “there’s thousands of other users who aren’t having problems so it must be something on your end”. No kidding, but that’s why I’m trying to get help.
