I have a strange issue with directories and importing.

Zatoichi's Revenge (1965) is listed as [existing] in Radarr under Library Import. The folder in my \data\media\movies\Zatoichi's Pilgrimage (1966) is the same and shows the file in it (.mkv). If I try manual import it says no file exists to import. If I rename the folder to Zatoichis Pilgrimage (1966) it shows no file in the folder. I refresh radarr import and it lists the new folder as [existing]. If I rename it back, it asks about merging the folders. I delete the folder I just created and refresh the import page in Radarr. When I do this the original Zatoichi's Pilgrimage (1966) disappears from the import list and is 'added'. I have about a dozen import movies like this and it is very strange to me.

two thoughts spring to mind here:-

1. it could be that you have somehow managed to copy duplicate movies to multiple 'disks', not sure how fuse deals with this (the amalgamated view for /mnt/user) but this may confuse radarr, check each /mnt/diskX and ensure you dont have duplicates going on, if you do have then delete one of the movies from the /mnt/diskX, NOT from /mnt/user/<share name>

2. its simply a bug in radarr, if 1. is not the issue then post your issue here.

Question about issues with binexRadarr stopping after a few minutes.
Building a new server to replace my old Threadripper.  The new server is an i5 14600K.  I have been been trying out Unraid 7 RC-1 and now RC-2 and things have been going great except with Radarr.  I am using Binhex packages  delugevpn, nzbget, sonar, lidarr and prowlerr all seem to be operating fine although I have just installed and configured them with minimal testing.  My issue is with Radarr, it seems to work okay but stops after a few minutes.  I assume it is an Unraid Ver 7 RC issue but I setup my Cache pair as ZFS and don't really want to wipe it and roll back.  I would appreciate any suggestions or insights.   Here is the complete log showing the shutdown.
Thank You

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello fellow Unraid users.

I am very new with the use of Unraid, but I have been using Linux with some headless server (Debian and or Ubuntu) for almost 2 decades (as a noob of course) more or less regularly.

So I have installed Plex Media Server (official), coming from a Synology install.

I have also installed binhex-SABnzbd and also binhex-radarr.
I use to be familiar with SABnzbd back in the day, but radarr is complete discovery for me.

I am trying to set-up radaar and to connect it with my SABnzbd instance.

Spoiler alert: I am also new with Docker (I used to install everything directly under my Debian/Ubuntu server) and I have to wrap my head aroung the concepts behing the local path and the hosts paths...

So, in radaar, I have the following warning message:

Quote

You are using docker; download client SABnzbd places downloads in /mnt/user/appdata/data/Films but this directory does not appear to exist inside the container. Review your remote path mappings and container volume settings.

The thing is: in SABnzbd, I have the following mapping:

/data <--> /mnt/user/appdata/data
/data/usenet/ <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/usenet/
/config <--> /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-sabnzbd

and in the Folder configuration WebUI page of SABnzbd, I have the following setting:

Temporary Downloads: /data/usenet/incomplete

Completed Download: /data/usenet/complete

For radarr, I have the following mapping:

/config <--> /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-radarr
/media <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/
/data <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/usenet/

So I don't understand why radarr is referring to the /mnt/user/appdata/data/Films folder. Where is he taking this information from?
If my understanding is correct, I need to have the Download folder path in SABnzbd to match the one declared in radarr as well...

I have configured radarr & SABnzbd (binhex) according to the following tuto but I might have missed something somewhere.

I thank you in advance for your help!

and Happy New Year!

Yes. You need to have the /data host path and container path exactly the same. Your host paths do not match. One is /mnt/user/appdata/data and the other is /mnt/user/PlexMedias/usenet. You may not want Sab downloading everything to the appdata share.

@wgstarks thank you for your help!

I have made some changes in the dockers configs:

radarr:

/config <--> /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-radarr
Path Media : Container Path : /media <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/media/ (supposed to be the folder where media are stored ultimately and where the Plex Server librairies will be looking into)
Path Data : Container Path : /data <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/usenet/ (supposed to be the download folder or SABnzbd, right?)

SABnzbd:

Host Path 2 - Container path : /data <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/usenet/ (I am a bit confused here: is it supposed to be the folder where SABnzbd is copying the files once the download is complete? In this folder I have the subfolders /complete and /incomplete)
Download Path: Container Path : /data/usenet/ <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/usenet/
/config <--> /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-sabnzbd

Are these correct? I don't think so as radarr is stil warning me with this message

ThksValyno

I don’t use sab. Do you have it set to save downloads to /data/usenet/complete/movies?

Hello @wgstarts

SABnzbd is configured to save the downloads to here:

container path: /data/usenet/ <--> /mnt/user/PlexMedias/usenet/

/PlexMedia is a share where I have the following folders:

media/movies/

----------/tv/

---------/music/

etc...

these are for my Plex server

then I have:

/usenet/

-/complete/

------/movies/

------/tv/

-----/music/

-/incomplete/

So I really don't understand why radarr keeps referring to the /data/usenet/complete/movies folder

To start I would revert the /data container path back to /data on both dockers just to simplify things. I’m not familiar with Sab’s settings inside the app but I’m guessing you can set download locations to something like /data/complete inside the app. This should make Radarr look in /data/complete.

Hello
@wgstarks

Thank you for the advice, makes total sense.

I am about to change my SSD (from 256 GB to 1 TB), it will help with the downloads.

Then I will configure Radarr to move the files to the PlexMedia library folder!

I will report back if it works!

Thks again for your help!!

and Happy New Year

Hello Everyone,

I am still struggling with my set-up of the *arr applications.

All of them are complaining

You are using docker; download client SABnzbd places downloads in /data/usenet/complete/books but this directory does not appear to exist inside the container.

So, here are the container settings page for SABnzbd:

sabnzbd-containersettings.thumb.png.26648cff60e0935413e4a7caeda8ad39.png

and then the container settings page for radarr:

radarr-containersettings.thumb.png.5244187284322f79e6991bd9f70d8ee6.png

and the remote path settings in the radarr Download client page:

radarr-clientsettings.png.d1e20a33e5b0e83ffe13a8e92ecd1f54.png

I don't understand why in the Health page, Radarr keeps referring to the "data/usenet/complete/movies" folder when nowhere in my settings I have this path configured.

Everything happens in the the share /PlexMedias/ that I have created to store all my files for Plex.

The folder is organized like this:

/media/movies/

-------------------------/tv/

------------------------/music/

/usenet/

-------------/complete/

------------------------------/movies/

-----------------------------/tv/

---------------------------/music/

-------------/incomplete/

Radarr is able to see and the /media/movies/ folder and launch the downloads from SABnzbd whicj is recording the files in /usenet/complete/movies/ but then, it is not moving the files in the /media/movies/ folder.

I even planned to move the /usenet/ folder in the share I have set-up on my cache SSD for quicker transfer and unpacking, but then SABnzbd would not be able to write on the cache drive, but this is another story.

Thks agaibn for your support,

Valyno

What path do you have set for Sab to store the completed downloads in the Sab settings?

@wgstarks thanks again for your help.

In SAB settings for completed downloads, I have /data/usenet/complete

Is that the wrong setting ?

I am confused with the parameters that we are setting in the container setting page...

@wgstarks

I have updated in SAB the completed download folder as follows: /data/complete, and Miracle, Radarr is now good.

I managed to update one movie from the library with a better quality version and the file has been copied to the folder /PlexMedias/Media/movies !

Now, I have to solve an issue with Sonarr:

Health page says:

sonarr-healthissue.png.d911ec5025e424b070e9c617597363d7.png

The container settings:

sonarr-containersettings.thumb.png.c16439c724640e13f74312e4a75855b1.png

Any idea how to solve this one?

Thks

With your settings Sab will notify Radarr that a file has completed downloading and is located in /data/usenet/complete. Radarr will look in /data/usenet/complete and hopefully see the file. Depending on your settings for Radarr>Settings>Media Management the file will get moved, hardlinked, renamed, etc. It sounds like you may have Radarr settings misconfigured. Post the errors you are seeing in Radarr.

and I have the folder /mnt/user/PlexMedias/media/tv where I store the TV shows for plex to read from.

What do you have set for root folders in Sonarr? Sonarr>Settings>Media Management. Bottom of the page. Be sure to set “show advanced”.

I have this:

Is it for downlaod or for media library to monitor?

It should be /media I believe.

Delete it and run the health check again.

Done, error still present.

Then replaced by media, error still present, but another error (yellow one) disappeared instantly

I would post in the Sonarr forum. You really shouldn’t need root paths.
