January 13, 20179 yr Is there are a way to alter the threshold for HDD temp notifications? I live in Australia where the temp is consistently 30-35 degrees Celsius. I am getting hundreds of messages a day indicating my drives are 41 - 45 degrees. According to Seagate this is within their drives operating range. Id prefer not to turn the message off if possible so a solution to adjust the reporting threshold would be good.
January 13, 20179 yr On the Settings page, go to Disk Settings. You can adjust both the "default warning disk temperature threshold" and the "default critical disk temperature threshold" => these will be applied to all disks by default. You can also change these thresholds on a disk-by-disk basis by clicking on the disk # on the Main tab.
