Disks not spinning down

running 4.5.1 final

 

I have 2 disks and a parity drive but disk1 and the parity drive never seem to spin down.

 

i have all 3 disks set to spin down after 15minutes.

 

i dont have a problem with disk2

Then something is probably periodically accessing (and writing) disk1.

would this be the culprit?

Try also using 'lsof' to see what files are open. But that file seems to be a likely candidate.

they all seem to be rtorrent/rutorrent related; however, i rarely use it, i certainly havent in the last month. (unless this is a result of me looking over it just now?)

 

how can i disable rtorrent until i want to use it?

just thinking, if i hash out rtorrent from my go script and reboot that should work ok?
