Is there a reliable way to tell what speed your unraid server is receiving and uploading? I installed the small plugin but the highest went to 87Mbit while a normal desktop hit 240Mbit/sec. Is it cause because it has towrite to the whole arrary,

    The speedtest plugin?  That's as accurate as you can get as it's using speedtest.net for the tests.

     

    here's one of my recent tests with that plugin.
