Cannot get Windows 7 or 10 VM to start and see my vdisks

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I have read many posts and watched many videos describing how to install the VM's on unraid and cannot get mine to work. I have tried with Windows 7 and 10 and loaded all the Virto drivers and still cannot get the VM to see the Vdisk drive to install it on. I have been messing with this now for over 12 hours and I am about to crazy. I had this same problem once before with a previous version of unraid and had to change a config file in the main mnt/user directory or something but don't remember now exactly. I have the latest version of the Virto drivers and have tried selecting all the different version of windows drivers in the lists and have even tried 32bit and 64bit versions as well as all different versions of windows to...... My main goal is to setup a VM with windows 10 64bit.

please any feedback would be so hopeful.

Thanks,

Mike
