Unable to access GUI

Featured Replies

I am currently trying out Unraid and love it so far except for some reason I can't access the web GUI randomly, either through the IP address or tower/. I can still ping it and I do a port scan and it doesn't list port 80 when I can't access the GUI. Once I putty into it and restart it from there I am able to get into the web GUI but then later I can't anymore. I thought it could be the USB stick I was using so I switched it to a different brand and it's still doing it. I don't have any dockers or anything set up yet, I am just transferring data for now. Any ideas on how I can maintain access to the GUI? i'm pretty new to linux and don't know where to go from here.

Go to Tools - Diagnostics and post complete diagnostics zip, and tell us about your hardware.

Well I was getting ready to attach the logs and then I thought of something, my house has a ubiquiti network with a unifi gateway and sure enough after a port scan of the gateway it uses port 80 for its GUI access. I changed the emhttp port in the Go file to 8008 for now to see make sure that is what was causing the problem. I'll post back with the results. Thanks for the help.

This does not compute. The gateway has a different IP than your server, so there is no reason to change the port for unRAID.

Yeah the whole time I was thinking it shouldn't matter cause the IP address is different but some people were saying that the Ubiquiti system caused problems. But I came back home today and couldn't access the GUI again so I'm attaching the logs. The system is a an I5 on an AsRock motherboard with a mixture of WD Red HDD's and some seagate Barracuda's.

Nothing obvious in diagnostics but syslog is just after a reboot. Maybe try Fix Common Problems plugin - Troubleshooting mode.
