Hello All,

 

I'm new to UNRAID and think its great.  I am having a problem though..  I have several directory shares.  One of them is called 'movies'.  Now inside that share, I am seeing a boot folder, a etc folder, an install folder and a usr folder.  They should not be there.  If I putty into the Unraid server and cd /mnt/user/movies.  Those folders are there but they should not be.  Not sure what I did.

 

Can I just remove those folders that don't belong?

You should post your diagnostics.  You've installed something wrong as that is not normal behavior under any circumstance

ok.  You're running the quote quote official plex quote quote plugin from Plex's website.  Odds on you have it configured incorrectly and its installing itself to your movies folder.

 

To be honest, if you want to run Plex as a plugin, use PhAzE's version, or IMO one of the docker apps (I personally use linuxserver's, but you'll be good with Binhex's)

 

To get rid of plex, delete the contents of the extra folder on the flash drive.  But, yeah you'll be ok to delete those folders (which is going to wind up trashing the Plex install)
