Slow UI

Featured Replies

Running 6.2.4 on te Main server in my sig. I experience a rather slow UI at the moment. It first takes several minutes to open and when I am finally in going from main to docker or any other tab really is a waiting game. I am not able to pull diagnostics because of this. Even pressing the log or info button takes ages. What can I do to troubleshoot. Access to my shares seems normal either from Windows or Dune mediaplayer. Please help.

I do see many of these lines in the log appear:

You can try to get diagnostics from command line, see Need Help in my sig.

It was fixed after uninstalling the user scripts plugin, by deleting the .plg and folder it created of the flash and a reboot. I was experimenting with this plugin to powerdown the server at night. Server is back to normal performance now.

Personally, I find that hard to believe (as the plugin only scans the flashdrive when it loads the UI and then does absolutely nothing at all under any other circumstances), but if you're up and running fine now then so be it.

My sincere apologies, I was too fast with my assumption.

I also have unassigned devices installed in which I have some shares on an other NAS mounted. If this NAS is off line for whatever reason then unassigned keeps waiting indicated by a spinning wheel but als slowing down the UI?

Hey,

I'm having the same problem. But this has been happening with the VPN. It shouldn't matter, but for all, I know it started happening since last week. @Squid

If I pull some diagnostics what can I be looking for?

Well I guess you haven't hijacked this thread since it has been dead for 2 years now. But other than the vague description of a "slow ui" there is a lot about your problem that is bound to be very different from the discussion in this thread. You have a totally different version of Unraid for one thing.

Just because your vague description of your problem reminds you of the vague description of another users problem doesn't mean your problem and its solution will be at all related.

Since we're already here now and this thread was dead anyway, lets just keep it here. But for future reference, it really makes more sense to start your own thread. Unless you are trying to help solve the problem the OP had then it isn't a good idea to mix the discussions of your problems in with those of another users problems. The resulting confusion could lead someone to follow advice intended for another, for example.

Thanks for the advice. But long story short, In my case I was able to figure out it was a plugin from Chrome messing with the browser. From now on I access the UI using private browser.
