cpthook Posted January 22, 2017 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Hello forum! What is the best way to move my AOC-SASLP-MV8 SAS controller to a new PCIe slot safely? I tried to move it w/o any type of system modifications but I kept getting syslog errors when starting the array. This is the board it's connected to: SUPERMICRO MBD-X11SSL-F-O, and I also found issues when I tried to move my GPU card to a new slot also. What modifications should I make when I need to move cards from one slot to another? Link to comment

Was a few weeks back and i failed to capture log events, but I'll give it a shot with your recommendation and report back. I'm trying to move slots because I currently have it plugged into the PCIe x16 slot and i need to free it up in order to try out a new GPU. Link to comment
