January 23, 20179 yr Because your syslog is full of this Jan 17 04:58:42 Unraid shfs/user: err: shfs_write: write: (28) No space left on device Jan 17 04:58:42 Unraid shfs/user: cache disk full which means that your cache disk is full.
January 23, 20179 yr Your syslog is being flooded with messages that your cache drive is full. So the /var/log problem is just the tip of the iceberg. You are possibly going to have filesystem corruption of docker.img and cache disk. I will look more closely in a few minutes.
January 23, 20179 yr Author I have my download folder set to not use cache but when i navigate to it there are still temp files from qbittorrent, and ive run mover.
January 23, 20179 yr Your cache disk is only intermittently present. It would be worth checking the cables, especially the power, to it. Jan 15 23:11:37 Unraid emhttp: import 30 cache device: no device ... Jan 15 23:11:43 Unraid emhttp: import 30 cache device: sdo EDIT: Or is this you un-allocating and re-allocating it?
January 23, 20179 yr I have my download folder set to not use cache but when i navigate to it there are still temp files from qbittorrent, and ive run mover. mover will not move open files, so if qbittorrent is still running and using these files (seeding?) they won't get moved.
January 23, 20179 yr Author ok that makes sense, let me close qbit and run it again to see if space becomes available, @John i changed some drives around on the 15th which is where that message came from.
January 23, 20179 yr @John i changed some drives around on the 15th which is where that message came from. I realised that might be the case after posting and therefore added my edit.

Also, mover will not move files from a share set to cache-no. If you somehow got them on cache (possibly it used to be cache-yes) and you have the share set to cache-no, you will have to set it to cache-yes to get them moved then set it back to cache-no. Yes writes to cache and moves from cache to array. Prefer writes to cache if it can and moves from array to cache. Only writes to cache and doesn't move. No doesn't write to cache and doesn't move.
