blade316 Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can help me, this is my first VM I've created using unRAID, however I'm having an issue with the keyboard over VNC. So I have a laptop running windows 10 which I wanted to make into a VM, so I installed VMware standalone converter and created a VMDK file of the laptop, copied it over to unRAID and did the conversion into an IMG file. I then created the VM and assigned the IMG file as the primary hard drive and booted it up. The VM boots fine, and I can connect to it using VNC. However only the mouse works, but not the keyboard, and I can't figure out why. So I can't log into Windows 10 on the VM. I have tried both SeaBIOS and OVMF, same on both. I have tried using VNC from my Mac mini, MacBook and my windows machine, keyboard still doesn't work from any of them. Furthermore, if I create a brand new windows 10 VM using the normal Windows 10 install ISO, the keyboard works fine. I have no idea what to do from here. I have tried 3 different keyboards, the mac mini wireless keyboard I have, the macbook keyboard and then the dell laptop keyboard. Still no go. Quote Link to comment
