Now I see you are passing through your rom file so I assume you dumped your rom yourself (if you didn't make sure you do as ones from the net are often the wrong size and don't work for us) So if you dumped the rom yourself the card was in the second slot and now you have moved back to the first. Well once I forgot to plug the power into my GPU and it worked until I tried to load the drivers. So I am hoping that is what you have done too so I can feel I am not the only one here who forgets to give the GPU some power If all of that above is relivant then remove all the Nvidia drivers, I believe there is a programme which removes all the Nvidia drivers from the system but I don't have a link then try again.

January 28, 20179 yr Author So it's funny. I got it to work and boot and windows even installed a driver for the gtx960. I restarted and everything seemed OK, but then I got cocky and downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers and it broke the vm. I couldn't even get it to boot by switching to vnc or even after using a previous version of the vm disk image...
January 28, 20179 yr Set the vm to 1 core and try to boot up again. Could be an issue with updates possibly trying to run at the same time.
