March 10, 201016 yr so i just realized today that i can only access my server s web interface by typing its IP address into the browser. its called "storageTower" but if i type http:\\storagetower into a browser it doesnt work. i am using opendns on my router if that matters. any ideas on how i can access my unraid server via name instead of ip?

March 12, 201016 yr The problem is related to OpenDNS. Your best option is to modify the hosts file (works on Mac and PC), although you'll have to do that on all the machines that you use to access the server. A related post is: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=4069.0
