Time zone for forum - how do I change it?

Featured Replies

The times showing up in the forum are PST but I am on EST.  How do I change my time zone offset for the forums?

Up above, you'll see a menu line beginning with 'Home', click on 'Profile', then 'Look and Layout', and adjust the 'Time Offset'.  I'm in EST too, have it set to 3.

no Look and Layout under Profile for me ???

no Look and Layout under Profile for me ???

Profile - Accounts Settings - Look and Layout

Mine looks like this:

The menu system is not very intuitive for this forum software...

Profile > Account Settings > Modify Profile > Look and Layout is where it's at.

Strange, I just do:

  Profile > Look and Layout

Strange, I just do:

  Profile > Look and Layout

All themes require more navigation steps than just those 2 actions if you do NOT have "Use sidebar menus instead of dropdown menus when possible." enabled.

Here are the 2 possible paths with the "SMF Default Theme - Curve":

Path A)

Profile [click]

Modify Profile [hover]

Look and Layout [click]

Path B)

Profile [hover]

Account Settings [click]

Modify Profile [hover]

Look and Layout [click]

Here is the only path on the "Core Theme":

Path A)

Profile [click]

Modify Profile [hover]

Look and Layout [click]

Thanks BRiT.  I wasn't aware of that setting, found it on 'Look and Layout' too.  When I disabled it, I saw what the rest of you are seeing, a 'Modify Profile' tab.  It must have not been the default way back when I started.  I do prefer the sidebar menus though, less clicks.  Tabs are nice, but can be over done sometimes.
