i use dolphin to manually do some tidying up, i was removing two empty folders and must of had the parent folder selected as well and now its gone.........and deleted everything on the drive what would be the best way to recover, can i pull the drive and put it in a linux machine etc, its xfs partitioned.

thanks all in advance.

UFS Explorer XFS File Recovery

Found reviewing THIS thread where several undelete options are explored.

Seems a lot of trouble if filesystems are remote which is NOT your case.

No personal experience. Others may have better options but at least this is something to read about while you wait.

BTW - key to recovery is that NO additional writes take place to disks that you want to recover from. I'd halt any dockers / VMs / plugins that have any possibility to write to your array. I'd suggest bringing down the array (although would do some reading to confirm that does not inhibit recovery, which I would think unlikely but would double check).

Good luck.
