Spyderturbo007
Is there a quicker way to move data from disk to disk than through Windows explorer? My assumption is doing it that way moves the data from diskX, through my computer and back to diskY. I'm trying to move a good bit of data and it takes forever. Quote Link to comment
bonustreats
You could try the unBalance plug in. I used it to convert my disks to ZFS. https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45352.0 Quote Link to comment
kizer
You could use rsync or Midnight Commander mc in command line which I find using the putty program and mc works the best and gives you a windows explorer like view and takes your windows machine out of the picture so there is no double handling of data. Basically drive to drive and eliminates transferring from your server to PC and back to server. I normally que up data to transfer and then use the background option. Keep in mind if your selecting items that you use your mouse and right click on items to select them. Quote Link to comment
