February 3, 20179 yr I'm having an issue with passing through my graphics card for my windows 10 VM, its connected via HDMI and every time I start the VM the display loses the signal and goes into standby. I've seen this section of the manual: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/UnRAID_Manual_6#Assigning_Graphics_Devices_to_Virtual_Machines_.28GPU_Pass_Through.29 I've switched from i440fx to Q45 with no luck (the vm was already in OVMF) I then manually provided the ROM in the XML file. Since there were multiple pci devices I used the tools>system devices to look up the pci address and then put the new line in and pointed where the ROM file is (that is what you're supposed to do right? I'm pretty much a novice). Anyway with the above set up I tried multiple ways of turning on the monitor before starting the array and/or the VM all with no luck. I then tried the exact same thing only this time setting up the VM with SeaBIOS instead with no luck. Is there something I'm missing? I've checked and my motherboard BIOS and it is up to date, I'm not sure how to check my video card BIOS to see if its up to date but I've seen no indication that it isn't. Any ideas of what I should do next?
