February 5, 20179 yr Before i had an issue with my server every time i reboot, shut down, or force shut down the server, it would automatically log back in and i would have full access to the unRaid GUI over my network. Now, every time i go through any of those procedures i have to connect a monitor to the server or keep a dedicated monitor there just to login after a reset. Is there a way to have the server automatically login as it was able to originally?
February 5, 20179 yr You should never have to log in to unRAID at the console and the GUI is available remotely without such a login. I suspect you have some other issue. What do you do at the console (if anything) after you login? It might be worth posting your diagnostics (Tools->Diagnostics) to see if anyone can spot an issue.
February 5, 20179 yr Author basically after i connect a monitor and reset there is a screen that asks me to choose from 3 options (unraid / unraid gui / something else not sure) if i do not choose anything it will ask for a login and password using BIOS. if i choose option 2 it boots up the green unraid login screen where i type my login and password and it goes to the GUI from there. attached below is the diagnostics report for my server harmnas-diagnostics-20170205-0050.zip

The normal bootup (without the GUI) will just sit there at a login prompt. You then access unRaid's GUI via a web browser on a different computer on your network The GUI option merely loads a web browser on the server to do the same thing. Either way, the system is up and running and functioning perfectly. Access the GUI over the network from a browser
February 6, 20179 yr Author so if i do nothing and allow the BIOS to get to where it asks for me to login i dont have to do anything at all? i cant just login within my network? i tried that and it just says the server is down
February 6, 20179 yr Not sure what you mean by the BIOS asking you to log in. Can you take a photo of the screen and post it?

He seems confused about what is asking for the login. gekoking, once you have gotten the screen with the unraid options on it you are past the BIOS and have already begun booting unRAID.
