February 11, 20179 yr I upgraded to 6.3.1 from 6.2.x and that doesn't seem to work on my hardware (which is strange because I have the SP2600 dual E5 setup lots of people bought) Anyway I believe that returning to 6.2.4 will fix the problem but I don't want to lose my setup / config or VMs. Would prefer not to lose Dockers either but that is not a big deal. Is this as simple as just downloading 6.2.4 and then copying over the config directory to the new installation?

No, just download the zip and copy across bzroot, bzimage and bzroot-gui across to your old flash drive overwriting existing files.
February 11, 20179 yr Author Perfect that worked. UnRaid is working again. Thank you. When I was searching I didn't see anyone else complaining about 6.3.1 not working on the SC2600 dual E5 hardware even though that is a pretty common setup.

Should have mentioned that there is a serious security vulnerability in any version prior to V6.3 so it may be worth spending some time investigating why you're having issues with V6.3 rather than avoiding the issue.
February 11, 20179 yr Author Is the security issue a concern if the unRaid machine is behind a firewall and accessed only by an internal network? When it wouldn't boot after the update I downloaded and made a new 6.3.1 USB and it also had the same error. I then downloaded and made a new 6.2.4 USB and it did not have the error. The error was a Kernel Panic -- Not Syncing and there was some reference to CPU 9 and NMI which I have been searching for but without much luck. I found a topic where people had issues but it is someone having the same issue upgrading to 6.2
