Random Access Denied Message in Windows

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have been using unRAID for years.

I have set up about 5 servers.

I am having an issue with 1 server - this recently started happening.

Randomly during the day - all the shares become inaccessible giving the error message "Access Denied"

After a reboot, everything is fine.

I have password protected some shares, but when this happens, ALL OF THEM become inaccessible.

Has anyone experienced this type of behavior before?

Where should I start looking for traces of the issue?

Can you still access the web UI when this happens, or the console/SSH/Telnet?

If so, grab diagnostics after the problem occurs, but before rebooting. See Need help? Read me first! for instructions.

You might try throwing away your windows credentials and re-creating them.. They sometimes get messed up...
