New Permissions on New Upgrade

Featured Replies

I recently did a clean install of v6.3.1 just keeping my old shares information. After installation I was running the New Permissions script and after about 4 hours it got to disk 12/20 before I headed to bed, however windows decided to reboot during the night 4 hours later and I dont know if it finished or not.

Is there an easy way to check the new permissions on the disks, or to just run the new permissions script for certain disks?

Thanks

You can click and choose which disk to run "New Permissions" on. Just use the drop down and select "All" or which disks you want to perform it on.

Or

Use Console and just type "ls -ls" and typically each Folder and file would have permissions as such.
