February 18, 20179 yr I've tried looking around for a way to reduce the size of Windows 7 VM and free up space occupied by vdisk.img but I haven't found anything. I'm thinking of simply backing up the VM and restoring it on a new/smaller vdisk.img, is this something that can actually work? Or is there another way to resize vdisk.img?
February 18, 20179 yr I tried taking copy of partition and restore on a new vdisk. It did work eventually but I had a lot of problems with VM failing to boot. If you don't have many things to reinstall, I say you might just want to save the headache and start from scratch.
